The premises for the decoration of "La Estrella de Tarifa" were clear: reflect the profound and ancient andalusian roots of the environment, using as key symbol of the establishment, the 8-pointed star, to place on record the mixture of cultures by the closeness of the 2 continents, using a style of decoration with Moroccan charm of simple lines and free from ostentation to achieve that the traveler feels like a special guest, caring for each and every one of the small details present in the entire establishment.

For this reason, we commissioned in Tangier various models of hydraulic tiles hand-made and customized with our "star" in indigo blue and floral different drawings that decorate the entire flooring of the rooms and common areas of the establishment (you will walk over handcraft).

You will also find this 8-pointed star in the embroidered curtains, perforated in the doors of the cabinets and in our lamps and lanterns.
“La Estrella de Tarifa” is washed in white, to observe the typical andalusian style of the environment and better isolate the ubiquitous sun of the South but always find it in contrast to white, the indigo blue color, the identifying color of our establishment and the Mediterranean, framing doors, windows, balconies and arches decorate our establishment and its rooms of light, freshness, color and harmony.

The furniture that decorates and gives comfort to the rooms has a clear "Moroccan" air to get around an unique and different environment, it is made of simple lines but authentic and with history; tables made of forged iron, the cabinets of carved wood, the genuine leather puffs, banks of warm wood, vintage chairs from souqs, headboards in white lacquered wood are always present.

To recreate this special atmosphere we have countless small details in each of the rooms: wrought-iron lamps drilled, sconces, lanterns of colored glass, kettles, mirrors, lanterns of wrought iron, ceramics, etc.
